Event: Experience Epworth, A Walk in the Park.
The Epworth Park Foundation, in conjunction with the Epworth Park Cottage Owners Association, organized a new annual Fall event that shows the public the true beauty of the park — when Fall colors are in full display. Many cottage owners open their doors for tours. There are usually artisans demonstrating their craft. Food and drinks are also available.
Our first TV commercial, which aired in October 2025, can be viewed here.

Archive Project
In 2025, the Epworth Park Foundation started a hands-on effort to create an archive of historical artifacts. Photographs, postcards, posters, documents, and even a room key have been added to a new library.
Also, starting in 2025, the foundationlaunched ad video interview program for older cottage owners andtheir friends. The first one was with Madge Newell, Cottage 19, and is in the archive (but you can also see it here).
Starting in 2026, the foundation will be starting a self-conducted audio interview project, similar to the Library of Congress’s StoryCorps.
The Foundation has applied for a grant for a digital storage system and a cataloging system so that documents can be organized and easily searched by the public. Another goal is to make the catalog compatible and accessible by both state and national archives.
A “proof of concept” version of the archive is available now via this web site. You’ll find it on the Archive Page.
Butterfly Garden
Working with a local companies, Wallace Landscaping and Hannibal Garden Center, and with the assistance of our own cottage-owning-lepidopterist, the foundation installed a new butterfly garden.
Future plans include building another larger garden in 2026.
